Today the elementary students:
- made and wrote postcards during the morning meeting
- learned and practiced a new yoga pose (open heart) along with previously learned poses
- concentrated on level-specific grammar instruction (grade 1: word families, grade 2: sense verbs grade 3: past tense verbs)
- continued writing in our summer camp notebooks by writing down the recipe for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
- made cookies with our new recipe
- listened to and discussed the story of Hercules
- played some "Beans"
- practiced our summer camp poem
